And the list goes on.  Today’s post was done in this fashion for the benefit of readers who don’t quite want to believe the hemp and/or cannabis industry is on the verge of being a great industrial comeback point in the United States economy.

“The stat sheet on hemp sounds almost too good to be true: its fibers are among the planet’s strongest, its seed oil the most nutritious, and its potential as an energy source vast and untapped. Its one downside?

For nearly a century, it’s been illegal to grow industrial cannabis in the United States–even though Betsy Ross wove the nation’s first flag out of hemp fabric. Thomas Jefferson composed the Declaration of Independence on it, and colonists could pay their taxes with it. But as the prohibition on hemp’s psychoactive cousin winds down, one of humanity’s longest utilized plants is about to be reincorporated into the American economy. Get ready for the newest billion-dollar industry”.  This is a quote taken from the book entitled Hemp Bound, written by accomplished author Doug Fine.

  1. The hemp industry seems to be booming and will only be expanding over the next couple of years.  I’ve been doing a lot of research trying to learn all i can so i can get into this industry.

In addition to your ebook that i’m going to download do you have any guides or guidance on best way to get into the industry?

  2. Heyyy, awesome job on writing and creating this content, i was blown away by all the valuable information. i am in the “hemp” marketplace as well.  Im targeting more of the growing aspect.

I think your viewers will appreciate the wealth of knowledge, and resources you are providing. i know i did.

i wasnt a huge fan of your social site links following me around the page. felt pushy. Maybe thats a good thing idk. just something i was aware of.

    All the best

  3. Hey Vanna,

Great article! Thank you for your in-depth study of HEMP Industry. It’s very clear that the HEMP industry is making a comeback after a century. l believe it will revive the US economy and increase job demand. This is a billion dollar business and everybody would like a piece of it.

I have download your EBook – ALL about HEMP and will read it in the night.

    ALl the best.

  4. Hi Vanna, thanks for sharing this post about industrial hemp.   I really liked your infographic.  All of the links that you provided should be very helpful.  I am trying to learn more about industrial hemp because more and more of my potential real estate customers here in Colorado are thinking about trying to grow it.

In the US, I am hoping they will hurry up and get more research done on industrial hemp’s use as a livestock feed.

    1. Hi Sondra,

Based on your comments regarding your potential real estate customers, I see other opportunities for you in the industry as a whole that could even supplement your real estate business.

Thank you so much for your observation and comments.

  5. The Hemp industry is booming and not just in the U.S. but also here in Canada since it became legal countrywide in 2018.

I have read a few reports regarding business grows and the potential this new industry has in the next 5 years and it certainly looks very promising.

Many farmers also do switch to grow cannabis and this makes me a bit weary since we also, as humans, still need to have access to whole foods. Not sure if there will be a restriction, kind of a quota, in the future only time can tell.

One is for sure though, those who have their hands on this industry and do it right will succeed.

In my opinion, there is no stopping anymore. Let’s watch and observe.

Great article and thanks for sharing.

    1. Hello Sylvia,

Good to hear from you again.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment on “HEMP INDUSTRY JOBS AND BUSINESS OUTLOOK FOR 2019”.  I am so excited about what it means to the economy.

I don’t think there will be a shortage in our whole food supply.  Every farmer will not want to grow hemp and prefer to grow what they are comfortable and good at.  If I were a farmer though it would be good to have the option.

      I appreciate your comments.

  6. It amazes me that so many scientists ignored this industry for so long – and the benefits were there for everyone to see, they just didn’t want to see them!

Now the industry is taking off and it’s amazing the medical benefits and daily benefits one can find in hemp and it’s chemical makeup. Definitely an industry to keep an eye on – and a great one to get a job in!

    1. Hi Chris,

  8. Admin, Hello! Your solid review aroused my interest. And I began to look for answers to my questions on this topic. Which countries are the largest producers of cannabis?Apparently China, which is the world’s largest exporter of hemp paper and textiles. In total, the list covers 27 countries according to the NHA.

Why cannabis revival occurs in the US today? Because it is a universal raw material: paper, cloth and bio fuels made from hemp are environmentally and economically attractive compared to existing modern methods. Seeds are a good source of protein, popular with vegans.Hemp can also be turned into a building material known as hemp concrete, which is currently more easily available in parts of Europe than in the United States.  Component organic hemp is grown, processed into fabric and then sewn into clothing. Growing requires significantly less water than cotton.

Your topic reveals the promising direction of economic development of the country. Thank. Mark
